1. has this dragon avatar thingy named Shi and she's spunky and great, even though despite loving Carl Barks comics and Usagi Yojimbo I'm not that into anthropomorphic animal characters
2. , artist and all-around dynamite gal, created the equally dynamite gal Abigail Lucey. Abigail is a protective and friendly leader-type who also has FRECKLES and INCREDIBLE COMBAT SKILLS. In addition to just having great personality, her character design uses a really great shade of green (I keep sending her my number but I'm told she's fictional)
3., who is probably magic by virtue of the fact that she managed to get the username "mohawk rainbow," also has these cool drunk dudes who bartend. Author is the coolest because green hair.

Okay, so...

Iron Man 2.

I know what you're thinking. There's no way it can be the perfect gem of self-contained awesome that the first film was. No-how no-way it's the super-accessible (no pun intended) jumping-on film for people who don't like superheroes the first Iron Man was.

Well you'd be right, but that doesn't matter.

Because after Iron Man, if you aren't a geek yet there is something wrong with you.

Iron Man 2 is very much, without shame, an episode in a larger series. It's very clear that it's setting up for an Avengers film.

This, however, is a good thing for a geek.

And, most importantly, the film keeps what's important: the characters and their quirkiness. There is a lot of personality in this film, ranging from the comically over the top to the subtle and nuanced. At its best, it gives you both. I have high hopes that Marvel Studios can keep up their win streak...

I'm pretty stoked. In the next week or so, I should be done coloring my SteamPunkDarkFantasy characters and have them posted. Also, the dining hall has pretty good gyros.
